“Pantalla i calla!” is a comic opera produced by Camerata XXI in collaboration with Cor Sant Esteve and fifth and sixth grade students from the Camp de Tarragona primary school. The central theme of the work revolves around the responsible use of screens and electronic devices in early adolescence, with music by Albert Gumí, libretto by David Puertas, staging by Roger Padullés and choreography by Marc Jubete.

In a work with all the trimmings, there must be a soprano, a baritone, an orchestra, and a choir: a choir made up of boys and girls from Tarragona. The school principal wants to put an end to the problem of cell phones, tablets, and computers. All these screens can't be good for them! But how? What does the rondinaire caretaker think? What to say to Laia, with some photos on WhatsApp? Opera is music, it is theater, and above all, it is passion.
