"Home is not just a physical place, but rather an intangible feeling that brings comfort and belonging. It is the sanctuary where we retreat to after a long day, the space that holds our cherished memories and the people we love. Home is where we feel safe and protected, surrounded by the familiar sights, sounds, and smells that evoke a sense of security. It is the place where we can truly be ourselves, free from judgment, and accepted for who we are. Home is where we create our own traditions, build relationships, and nurture our dreams. It is the foundation that shapes our identity and provides a sense of stability in an ever-changing world. Our attachment to home is not solely based on the physical structure, but rather the emotional connections we form within its walls. It is the place where our heart resides, forever tying us to the memories and experiences that make it so special."

SomNiu is a full length dance/theater production commissioned by Teatre Fortuny in Reus (Spain), which brought me to found the Col·lectiu SomNiu, a dance/theater company that works in Cal Massó, an artistic residency assigned by the Cultural Institution from the city. Col·lectiu SomNiu is a space where dance and physical theater find a common ground to develop new works and artistic languages.
